| In an enchanted forest setting near Dove Lake and Cradle Mountain are the historic Waldheim's Hut and grave. A grove of pandanus palms grows on the banks of a freshwater stream passing beneath the timber footbridge. As I set up my camera a trio of black cockatoos frolick playfully in the canopy above. An ancient moss covered tree reaches out to frame the scene for me. Last light on an overcast evening allows me to capture the deep green brilliance of this picture perfect setting. |
