| A pair of locals swim their final laps for the day in the tidal pool at North Narrabeen. The pool is rendered a brilliant turquoise by the sand at its shallow floor. Moments after it has set, the sun reaches back from the horizon to catch a tuft of cloud overhead, for a final dance of colour. Just beyond the pool, the ocean here flows into the entrance of the largest remaining coastal lagoon in Sydney. Long Reef Headland and the lights of Collaroy lie on the distant horizon. |
