| As the rising sun ignites the horizon and coastal cliffs for a fleeting moment, a menacing storm front approaches from the south bringing showers. Within seconds the sun is engulfed and the skies are thundery, grey and wet. Coastal storms are a frequent spectacle throughout the year in Sydney. Whilst many prefer to take shelter from the impending downpour, I relish these opportunities to capture emotive portraits of the coastal landscape under dramatic skies. |
