| This surreal landscape lies at the banks of a dammed river along which a collection of ancient Hindu temples have become submerged. Here in the dry season, a few of the more elevated temples set amidst rolling fields of clover emerge from a thick dawn mist. These temples were built in honour of a past king of the region who was cremated here. |
