MONA VALE BEACH, SYDNEY

Afternoon low tide reveals a vast rock shelf blanketed magnificently in a vivid green growth of seaweed. Colonies of tiny molluscs take hold as gentle waves lap onto the rocky shore. In the distance a lone fisherman is kept company by seagulls anticipating a tasty catch. It is quite a challenge just to remain on one’s feet on this slippery surface, not to mention setting up a view camera.
