| After a steep descent on foot, I behold this stunning gem hidden deep in the forest of Tasmania's northwest. Fallen trees journey down the river to a momentary place of rest at the base of the falls. After heavy rains this waterfall swells to create a cascading veil across the entire length of this basalt wall, hence the rich growth of moss and red lichen, and the large tree trunk in the fore. |
